Another one bites the dust.....
Woodbridge Bowling Center, located in Woodbridge Township, NJ, has confirmed they will be closing their doors permanently on May 21st. The Woodbridge Bowling Center website posted this message earlier today:
QuoteTo our bowlers past/ present & friends,
It is with the most heartfelt words that we let all of you know, after 40+ years under the management of Joey D and 20+ years under the ownership of the DiSilvestro’s, Woodbridge Bowling Center will be closing their doors at the end of the day May 21st. It is time to take the next step in our lives and enjoy retirement.
We want to thank each and every one of you for all your love and support over the years. WBC was not only a business to us, it was a family and we couldn’t have done it without all of you. We will cherish all the memories, relationships and the friends that became family along the way.
We look forward to what the future holds and soaking in all the vitamin sea we can get.
Please stop in and join us in celebrating WBC one last time during Memorial Day weekend (Friday, 5/26 4 pm to close and Saturday, 5/27 2 pm to close)for bowling and drink specials open only to our bowlers past & present (and families)
Sincerely,
The DiSilvestro Family
A user named Dana Lynn also posted the notice on her Facebook page. A user commented on the post asking why the owner wasn't selling, but another user said the land was more valuable than the business itself. The center only has one league posted on the LeagueSecretary website that was updated today, but it is unknown what the fate of the league will be.
